Westminster International University in Tashkent took part in the Central Asia-European Union Universities Congress held in Samarkand. The event serves as an important platform for strengthening academic dialogue, expanding international cooperation, and enhancing partnerships between higher education institutions in Central Asia and the European Union.
As part of the Congress, Rector of WIUT Komiljon Karimov participated in panel sessions and discussions on strengthening academic cooperation, partnership and fostering closer collaboration between universities in Central Asia and the European Union.
Within the framework of the Congress, WIUT signed several Memorandum of Understanding with leading European universities, including the Silesian University of Technology, WSB University, and AGH University of Krakow, as well as a Cooperation Agreement with Pomeranian University in Słupsk. These agreements mark an important step towards expanding bilateral academic cooperation and creating new opportunities for collaboration in education, research, academic mobility, and innovation.
