Human Resource Management Cluster (HRMAC)

HRM cluster (HRMAC) is a center of excellence at WIUT. HRMAC comprises of a collaborative academic group dedicated to examining people related issues in organizations by integrating robust yet impactful theoretical research with sound practical interventions. The core purpose of HRMAC is to contribute to creating policies that are grounded in HRM theory, organizational psychology, social psychology, positive psychology, and management concepts. Such HRM policies ensure the development of healthy, sustainable, ethical, inclusive and innovative organizations that promote productively through enhancing people’s commitment, engagement, self-efficacy, empowerment and well-being.

Sustainable Business

The Sustainable Business Research Cluster (SBRC) examines how entrepreneurship, innovation, and technological capabilities enable firms — particularly SMEs and new ventures — to pursue competitive and socially responsible growth. Focusing on emerging economies, the cluster investigates how companies adopt and diffuse emerging technological fields such as renewable energy, digital transformation, and biotechnology, and how these technological transitions shape sustainable market behavior. Our research explores the dynamic processes through which organisations build capabilities, integrate responsible innovation, and navigate shifting institutional environments. Methodologically, the cluster adopts a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative tools such as data-driven, survey research, and fuzzy-set methods with longitudinal, socio-historical, and process-oriented qualitative analyses. Through this integrated focus, we aim to advance understanding of how firms contribute to sustainable economic, social, and technological development.
