WIUT Social Engagement Section organised a unique contest, “Lockdown unlocks creativity”, which was aimed at encouraging students to unleash the creativity that is bubbling away at the university. We are delighted to announce the winners in each category below.
The best works in photography were presented by Bekzod Kasimov “Till dawn”, first place and Sevara Amanullaeva “Ethnic Vibes”, second place, and Azim Shamuratov “Blur”, professional choice.
The best Artwork was presented by Noila Rasuljanova “Color fountain”, first place and Sevinch Farmonova “Rare sky and its reflection”, second place Malika Abdullaeva “The Starry Night”, professional choice.
In the category Best Vocal Sevara Turakulova and Laylo Rikhsieva were awarded the first and second places. Laziz Khodjaev’s performance won the professional choice.
In the Best Instrumental performance category Rustam Karimov and Sevara Turakulova won the first and second places respectively, Khusan Rustamzoda earned professional choice for his performance of “Bohemian Rhapsody”.
The first place for the best instrumental acting performance went to Dosakhanov Alibek and the second place went to Malika Zakhidova. Sardor Akhmadov presented his Warren’s monologue from “This is our youth”and and got professional’s choice award.
The video by Mukhlisa Atakhodjaeva “Nature in a dreamer’s eyes” earned the first and Malika Khavizova’s video titled “My productive quarantine” earned the second place. The professional choice award went to Abdullokh Abdugafforov for his work titled “Finding inspiration in isolation”.
We congratulate all the winners with the victory and thank all the participants for their input and immense talents.
We want to acknowledge the work done by the students who coordinated the event and express our appreciation for their time and commitment. They are Kamila Yadgarova, Malika Zayniddinova, Nigora Safieva, Khusan Rustamzoda, Jalol Amirov and Ilyos Ilkhomov, who are also WIUT creative club leaders.
